Macau (澳門) is an autonomous region on the south coast of China, across the Pearl River Delta from Hong Kong. A Portuguese territory until 1999, it reflects a mix of cultural influences. Its giant casinos and malls on the Cotai Strip, which joins the islands of Taipa and Coloane, have earned it the nickname, “Las Vegas of Asia.” One of its more striking landmarks is the tall Macau Tower, with sweeping city views.  

澳门是中国南海岸的一个自治区，与香港隔珠江三角洲。 1999 年之前的葡萄牙领土，它反映了文化影响的混合。 它在连接凼仔和路环的路凼金光大道上的巨型赌场和购物中心赢得了“亚洲拉斯维加斯”的绰号。 其更引人注目的地标之一是高大的澳门旅游塔，享有一览无余的城市景观。
