Fenghuang Village (Chinese: 凤凰村), also known as Ling Xia (岭下) or Fenghuang Ancient Village (凤凰古村), is a historic urban village located in Fuyong, Bao’an, Shenzhen, China.
The village traces its origins to the descendants of Wen Tianxiang, a scholar-general of the Southern Song dynasty, during the Yuan dynasty. Today, it features over 60 preserved buildings and structures from the Ming and Qing dynasties, including the iconic 6-story Wen Tower, built in the late 18th century. In 2006, Fenghuang Village was added to Shenzhen’s Heritage List and underwent restoration in 2014.
