Zhongshan (中山市) is a prefecture-level city in the south of the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong province, China, with a population of over 3 million. The city-core subdistricts used to be called Shiqi or Shekki. Zhongshan is one of a very few cities in China named after a person.  

中山是中国广东省珠江三角洲南部的地级市，人口超过 300 万。 城市核心街道曾经被称为石岐或石基。 中山是中国为数不多的以人名命名的城市之一。
