After Dark in Guangzhou — Longtan Station Street Photography Series
I’d like to share a series of night street photographs captured around Longtan Station (龙潭站) in Guangzhou — a vibrant intersection of Metro Lines 11 and 18. All shots were taken with a 56mm f/1.2 lens, allowing me to isolate intimate moments while preserving the rich atmosphere of the streets.
This area is a hidden gem for street photographers. The narrow alleys are packed with local street food vendors, glowing neon signs, and bustling late-night energy. The colorful lights reflect off wet pavement and shop windows, creating layered compositions full of depth, texture and mood. Every corner feels cinematic, and every step reveals a new story.
If you enjoy urban night photography, neon-lit streets, and candid city moments, this is definitely a place worth exploring.
